WestSource Energy Inc (WSE), incorporated in January, 2006, was the first of the WestSource Group of companies. WSE develops and plans to operate utility scale, alternative energy generation projects. Currently, WSE focuses on wind energy development which includes activities such as the assessment of potential wind farm locations, development at economically feasible locations, construction, commissioning and subsequent operation of these wind farms.
WSE’s announced development is the Montmartre Project wind farm with 8,500 acres of optioned land. When operational, the wind farm will be capable of producing up to 150MW of clean wind power.
